Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink and other companies, has often been seen with his nose and wallet in politics. He has made significant contributions to both the Republican and Democratic parties, and is particularly vocal about his views on climate change. Musk is also a vociferous supporter of renewable energy, electric cars, and space exploration. Musk is a registered independent and has spoken out against both major political parties.

It has been speculated that Musk is more likely to vote Democrat than Republican, due to the company’s production of the first all-electric vehicle, Tesla. He is an advocate of the Paris Climate Accord, which the US is no longer a part of. He has publicly supported Joe Biden and has even held fundraisers for the Democratic presidential candidate. Musk also donated to the campaigns of various Democratic senators, including Dianne Feinstein, Joe Manchin, and Susan Collins.

Musk has also indicated in past interviews that he does not think both parties should control the government, despite donating to Democratic candidates. He claims that both of them have varying levels of incompetence and corruption, and he wants to see both Democrats and Republicans come together to work on common goals.

Despite his support of Democratic candidates, Musk has also donated to a number of Republican individuals and committees, including the NRCC and RNC, as well as to a number of Republican politicians. He has also shown admiration for Republican party members, like former President Donald Trump, who took a bullish stance on space exploration and cutting-edge industries that are relevant to Musk’s businesses. He even credited the Trump administration for allowing SpaceX to launch its first human mission to the International Space Station (ISS).
