A key factor here has been the media hype following Elon Musk, and his optimistic promise of a future with autonomous and efficient technology. He is of massive influence in the world of technology, and works tirelessly to bring out new projects, ideas, and innovations.
Only time will tell if Musk is the great visionary he touts himself to be, or if he is simply manipulating others in order to present an image of himself as an unstoppable, innovative force of technological advancement.
